At the Racket and Roll Badminton Hall on Thursday, Ambika defeated Krishi Pratsika Nepal 21-17, 21-16 and Deepika defeated Sarla Shrestha of Civil Aviation Authority in straight sets 21-11, 21-12.
In men's singles, Vidyut's Bhaktaraj Joshi beat Agriculture's Takkar Kunwar 21-19, 21-14 and Mangesh Tamang defeated Civil Aviation's Kaljang Lama 19-21, 21-16, 21-5 to reach the finals.
In the over-45 men's singles competition organized by the Staff Sports Foundation Nepal (ISAN), Vidyut's Ratna Shrestha defeated Civil Aviation's Devendra Prasad Pandey by 22-24, 21-11, 21-11 and Vidyut's Raju Maharjan beat Nepal Airlines Corporation's Ghanshyam Bhatt by 21-13, 21-11 to reach the finals. In
executive doubles, Vidyut's Vasu Colony and Lokendra Saud and Vishnu Gayre and Yukesh Shrestha made it to the finals. In men's doubles, Krishi's Takkar Kunwar and Rajkumar Niraula and Vidyut's Vinod Adhikari and Bhaktaraj Joshi secured the final match. Veteran over 45 men's doubles duo of Vidyut's Raju Maharjan and Ratna Shrestha and Vidyut Chabilal Bhattarai and Vishnu Maske made it to the finals.
