Tulsipur sub-metropolitan city has won the title of the fifteenth President's Running Shield at the district level. 10 local level players of the district participated in the tournament from May 15 in Tulsipur sub-metropolis-17, Belzhundi Stadium.
Tulsipur has achieved the top position with excellent performance. In the medal table, Tulsipur managed to win 76 medals including 32 gold, 22 silver and 22 bronze. Ghorahi sub-metropolitan city came second with 52 medals including 20 gold, 16 silver and 16 bronze. Shantinagar rural municipality has managed to get 3rd place by winning 25 medals including 5 gold, 6 silver and 14 bronze.
In the closing program held on Saturday, the players who performed well in various games were honored. Tulsipur sub-metropolitan chief Tikaram Khadka, member-secretary of Lumbini Pradesh Sports Council Thirandaj Gautam and office head of District Sports Development Committee Rakesh Pariyar participated in the concluding program.
