Phidim Secondary School has won the district level running shield competition held in Panchthar. Fidim won the Presidential Running Shield with 24 gold, 13 silver and 5 bronze medals in 66 categories.
Yangvarak Rural Municipality has managed to occupy the second place in the competition with 23 gold, 14 silver and 13 bronze. In the competition, the chief guest, Samar Bahadur Adhikari, President of Hilihang Rural Municipality, Gajadhar Bhattarai, Ward President of Fidim Municipality-1, Birkh Bahadur Suhang and Ganesh Yonghang, Executive Committee member Sushma Lavati and others distributed prizes, trophies and certificates to the winning and runner-up teams and participating players. In the
competition, the best performing students and teams from all the eight local levels of the district competed in the competition held at the playground of Jorpokhari Secondary School located in Hillihang-6.
Similarly, Falgunand Rural Municipality came third with 8 gold, 6 silver and 14 bronze medals, while Hillihang managed to become fourth with 4 gold, 9 silver and 12 bronze medals.
While Miklajung rural municipality won 2 gold, 6 silver and 8 bronze medals, Kummayak managed to win 2 gold and 3 bronze medals.
Similarly, Phalelung rural municipality won 2 gold, 7 silver and 2 bronze medals, while Tumwewa rural municipality won 1, gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal.
Fidim Mavi has already won the President's Running Shield three times.
