Bangalore beat Punjab easily in the final

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) easily qualified for the final of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Thursday. The team defeated Punjab Kings by 8 wickets in the first qualifier held in Mullanpur. The defeated Punjab will now play the second qualifier.

An eliminator between Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians is happening on Friday. The winner will face Punjab. The winner will face Bengaluru for the title in the final on Sunday. Bengaluru, chasing a small target of 102 runs for

victory, made 106 runs by losing 2 wickets using only 10 overs. Opener Phil Salt remained unbeaten by scoring a half-century.  He scored 56 runs off 27 balls. It included 6 fours and 3 sixes. Virat Kohli scored 12 runs in 12 balls. Similarly, Mayank Agarwal contributed 19 runs. Rajat Patidar, another not out batsman added 15 runs.

After losing the toss to bat first, Arle's performance from Punjab's bat was weak and the entire team lasted only 14.1 overs. Punjab managed to score only 101 runs. Marcus Stoinis scored the highest 26 runs in that. Opener Prabhasimran Singh and Azmatullah Umarzai contributed 18 runs each. Benlguru's Josh Hazlewood and Suryansh Sharma took 3 wickets each. Yash Dayal took 2 wickets.
