In the Leela Century Memorial U-16 Lumbini state level cricket tournament held in Rupandehi, Navalparasi won easily against Palpa. Navalparasi defeated Palpa by 69 runs in the match at Extra Tech Oval cricket ground in Tilottama on Monday.
Chasing the target of 133 runs given by Nawalparasi for victory, Palpa lost all wickets in 21.2 overs and was reduced to 63 runs. 13 runs scored by Amrit Aryal for Palpa remained a personal high score. Ujwal Pathak and Rubin Parajuli scored 10/10 runs and got out. No other player could score runs in double figures. Three batters could not open the account. Aryan Ali, Tilak Sapkota and Premsagar Yadav took 3 wickets each for Navalparasi. Ajay Chai got one wicket.
Before that, Navalparasi, who won the toss and batted first, scored 132 runs losing all wickets in 28 overs of 5 balls. Palpa's Amrit Aryal took 4 wickets. Aryal bowled 6.5 overs and scored 28 runs. Tilak Sapkota of Nawalparasi contributed the most 22 runs. Similarly, Aro Jung Giri scored 28 runs, Manish Tiwari scored 14 runs and Anay Chai scored 11 runs. Other batters could not score runs in double figures. Palpa's Amrit Aryal took four wickets in

Tilak Sapkota of Nawalparasi was declared man of the match in Monday's match. He had an excellent performance in the match against Palpa.
In another match on Monday, Dang defeated Bardia by 30 runs. Chasing the target of 171 runs given by Dang at the Siddharth Cricket Ground in Bhairahawa, Bardia lost all wickets in 30.4 overs and were reduced to 140 runs. Hemant Acharya of Bardia scored the highest 30 runs. The performance of others was not good. In bowling, Daksh Thakur of Dang took 3 wickets, Sandeep Thapa and Shubham Khanal took 2 wickets each.
Before that, Dang, who won the toss and batted first, scored 170 runs in 33.2 overs. Yogeshwar Kavnar scored the highest 42 runs for him.
