Dhanusha and Bara have won the two matches under the Madhesh Cricket League season-1 in Birganj on Monday.

In the first match, Dhanush defeated Sarlahi by 5 wickets. In the scheduled 20 over match, Sarlahi won the toss and batted first.

Arif Raja contributed the most with 34 runs and Vivek Chaudhary with 16 runs. Krish Sah took 3 wickets and Vishal Susling took 2 wickets. 

In response, Dhanusha scored 93 runs in 14 overs 5 balls with the loss of 5 wickets and turned the game in his favor. For him, Ali Akbar Ansari scored 27 and Mayan Yadav took 25 runs. Chakradhar Yadav took 2 wickets and Vishal Patel took 1 wicket on the strength of Sarlahi. Dhanusha's Krish Sah was the 'man of the match'. 

In the second match, Bara defeated Mahottari by a wide margin of 103 runs. Bara, who won the toss and batted first, played the entire over and made a huge score of 177 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. For him, Pawan Sarraf scored 47 runs while Adil Ansari scored 37 runs.
