Valley Public reached the senior girls' semi-finals of the ninth Schibbs Cup inter-school three-by-three basketball tournament on Sunday.
Valley Public defeated Eden Bridge Academy (EBA) by a score of 15-10 at the host Skibs' court. The remaining three quarterfinals are yet to be played. In that, Naveen Jyoti will play against Chelsea World School, Trijyoti against Himarashmi and Nims against Gyan Niketan.
In junior boys, Squibs defeated Navinjyoti by 9-8 and confirmed their place in the quarterfinals. The other pre-quarterfinals will be between Odyssey Academy and Unique Nepal, Angels Heart and People's Academy, Nepal Police School and Paramount Academy, Gyan Niketan and Bashundhara National Academy (BNA), Seb and Gateway Academy, Himarshmi and Golden Peak and Laligurans National Academy and Api School.
In the pre-quarterfinals of Senior Boys, TIA and Skylark, Newton and BNA, Pranjali and Wilson Academy, Himarshmi and Prithvi, Greenland and Seb, Skibbs and Nepal Police, Gyan Niketan and Api and Angels Heart and Reliance will meet. The competition will end on Monday.
