Goldengate defeated Kirtipur on Sunday in the Himalayan Java Basketball League (HJBL).

In the match at Kirtipur Covered Hall, Goldengate defeated the home team Kirtipur with a score of 81-64. After the fifth win, Goldengate has tied 11 points with the top Hounds Academy from 6 games. Defeated against Times in the first game, Goldengate got their fifth win in a row in the league. Goldengate is the only team to beat the Hounds in the league. 

This is Kirtipur's fourth defeat in a row. After defeating Samakhusi Youth Club in the first two matches, Kirtipur has not been able to win. This is Goldengate's second win against Kirtipural. Earlier, in the first match, Goldengate defeated Kirtipur with a score of 92-65.

Sunday, Goldengate took the lead from the beginning and maintained it until the end. The first quarter was 26-20 and the second quarter was 18-15 in their favor. Goldengate won the game by winning the third quarter 21-17 and the fourth quarter 17-12. The most valuable player was Ajay Kushwaha of Goldengate. Sudeep Paudel scored the highest 23 for Goldengate. Nischal Maharjan of Kirtipur scored 22.
