Professional golfer Rame Magar's team won the Surya Nepal Challenge Pro-Am title on Saturday. Rame's team won the title with 124 points at the Royal Nepal Golf Club. Amateur golfer Satyajung Rana scored 44, Saroj Thapa scored 41 and Anjila Yonjan scored 39.

The team of Prof. Bhuvan Nagarkoti got the second place with 117 points. Amateur golfers Rabindrapurush Dhakal, Muktisen Gurung and Tara Karki Chitrakar scored 39 each. Prof. Ramesh Adhikari's team came third with a score of 114. Amateur player Swapnil Bhattarai scored 39, Phunsuk Norbu Lama scored 38 and Swadesh Gurung scored 37.

In the women's side, Anjali won the trophy by defeating Tara Karki of the national team on count back with a score of 39. Jhalendra Bhattarai won the title of longest drive and Phunsuk Norbu won the title of closest to the pin. A total of 90 amateur golfers participated in the Pro-Am.

President of Royal Nepal Golf Club Madhukar Yakthumba, President of NPGA Ravindraman Shrestha and Captain Mithun Rai of Royal Nepal Golf Club distributed the prizes to the winning players.

The title of Surya Nepal Challenge was won by Prof. Shukra Bahadur Rai of Dharan with a course record.  

Now the eighth and final tournament under Surya Nepal Golf Tour 2024-25, Surya Nepal Premier will be held at Gokarna Golf Club from June 10 to 13.
