Baksila Football Club has won the title of the 6th KFA Information Commemorative Diktel Mayor Cup Football Tournament. In the final held at Diktel Stadium on Saturday, Bacsila defeated Nunthala Sports Qual 6-0. The winner got Rs 2 lakh and the runner-up got Rs 1 lakh.
According to Nurkaji Sainju, president of the organizer Khotang Football Academy, Padam Bhattarai from Baksila was selected as the best player. He got 7 thousand. Vivash Chaudhary was awarded as the goalkeeper, coach Sanam Rai Jojo, Sujan Majhi as the top scorer. They are all from Baksila. They got 4,000 people.
Prateek Khadka of Khotang Football Academy was chosen as the emerging player. He got 2 thousand. Sujan Majhi from Baksila was chosen as Man of the Final. Diktel's Rohan Pariyar, Pascal Basnet, Ekraj Budhathoki, Yogesh Bubai Rai were honored for their special contribution in football.
