Parsa and Rautahat won in Birganj on Thursday under Madhesh Cricket League season-1. Parsa defeated Sarlahi by 69 runs in the first match at Narayani Cricket Ground.
After Sarlahi won the toss and chose to field, Parsa scored 123 runs after losing all wickets in 19 overs. Mohammad Samir contributed 30 runs and Safwan Ali contributed 24 runs. Sarlahi's Vishal Patel took 5 wickets and Neeraj Yadav took 2 wickets. In reply, Rautahat could score only 56 runs in 13.4 overs. Vishal Patel scored the highest 28 runs. Parsa's Chandan Ram took 5 wickets and Ranjith Kumar took 1 wicket. Chandan Ram was declared the player of the match.
Rautahat beat Mahottari by 46 runs in the second match. Rautahat won the toss and scored 135 runs after losing 5 wickets. W Mallick scored 62 and Sunny Sah scored 47 runs. Mahottari's Abhishek Tiwari took 3 wickets. In reply, Mahottari was bowled out for 89 in 18.3 overs. Prannoy Sah scored the highest 22 runs. Rautahat's Nitesh Yadav and Sunny Sah took 3 wickets each. Sunny Sah of Rautahat was adjudged player of the match.
