After the match between Hong Kong and Bahrain was canceled due to rain, Nepal has entered the second round of Asia Qualifiers of the Women's Twenty20 Cricket World Cup.

Nepal proved to be lucky when the match between Hong Kong and Bahrain was canceled after rain in Bangkok, Thailand.

Nepal, which is at the top of the group, has played all 4 games in the group stage and collected 5 points. Although Hong Kong is ahead of Nepal in terms of net run rate, according to the rules of the competition, Nepal has entered the second stage as the team that has won the most matches.

Nepal has won 2 matches while Hong Kong has won only 1 match.  The 9 participating teams are divided into 3 groups and the top teams from each group will advance to the second round. Then after 3 teams compete against each other, the top two teams will qualify for the Twenty20 World Cup.
