India's Lucknow has won the title of the third Janakpurdham Mayor's Cup Twenty20 cricket tournament. In the final match held at Ramzan International Multi-Purpose Stadium on Friday, Barala won the Mayor's Cup by defeating the previous winners Barala by 8 wickets.

After losing the toss and batting, Lucknow was given a target of 168 runs by losing 6 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs. Batting back, Lucknow team completed the target by losing two wickets in 17 overs.

On behalf of Lucknow, Harshit Yadav scored 98 runs in 50 balls and remained unbeaten. He hit 12 fours and three sixes. Sumit Pathak scored 53 off 43 balls, Somen Mohenty scored 2 off 5 balls and Ankit Singh scored 19 runs off 8 balls to remain unbeaten. Bowling for Bara, Shahab Alam and Pawan Sarraf took 1 wicket each.

Ravi Sah scored 54 runs in 44 balls, Adil Ansari scored 54 runs in 21 balls, Vivek Yadav scored 22 runs in 18 balls, Pawan Sarraf scored 16 runs in 10 balls, Trit Das scored 9 runs in 8 balls, Niraj Yadav scored 7 runs in 18 balls and Nikhil Singh scored 2 runs in 3 balls.

On behalf of Lucknow, Subham Yadav and Manish Singh took 2/2 wickets each while Shailendra Singh and Ashmit Mishra took 1/1 wicket. Harshit, who scored 98 runs unbeaten in the final, was declared the man of the match.

Janakpurdham Mayor Cup : Lucknow Champion After playing four matches in this tournament, Vivek Yadav of Bara scored 225 runs and became the best batsman and man of the series. He scored a century and a half-century in this tournament. Similarly, Parsa's Ranjit Kumar, who took 6 wickets in two matches, became the best bowler in this tournament. 133 sixes in a total of 15 matches in Janakpurdham Mayor Cup and  360 fours were scored. Lucknow, who won the

title, was given 2 lakhs and 125,000 to Bara along with the cup. Twelve teams, including four from India, competed in this tournament. Dhanusha won the first Mayor's Cup title, Bara won the second Mayor's Cup title and India's Lucknow team won the third cup title.
