With only two rounds of matches remaining in the English Premier League, there is a desire to qualify for the European Champions League. So far, only champions Liverpool have been confirmed to play in European club football's biggest competition next season. Second-placed Arsenal are also almost certain to qualify.

But there is only a total of four points between third-placed Newcastle United and seventh-placed Nottingham Forest. Arsenal, the only team to challenge Liverpool in the title race this season, was a sure second place until a few weeks ago.

Newcastle face Arsenal on Sunday and the game will be at the Emirates. If they win this game, Newcastle will overtake Arsenal by one point. Coincidentally, Arsenal have won only once in their last six matches. Newcastle, by contrast, are on a roll after winning the League Cup in mid-March.
