The third Janakpurdham Mayor's Cup T20 tournament semi-final draw has been completed. On Wednesday, with Bara and India's Lucknow winning, the equation of the semi-finals was completed. Mahottari, Muzaffarpur, Lucknow and Bara have reached the semi-finals of this tournament in which 12 teams including four from India have participated.
Bara defeated India's Delhi by 111 runs and Lucknow's Rautahat by 5 wickets to secure a place in the semi-finals. Rautahat, who lost the toss and batted, was bowled out for 64 runs in 15.3 overs. Sunny Sah scored 20 runs off 28 balls and Nitesh Yadav scored 14 runs.
Lucknow's Asmit Mishra took 3 wickets by giving 19 runs in 4 overs, Shubham Yadav, Sumit Pathak and Manish Singh took 2 each and Shiv Singh took 1 wicket. Lucknow completed the target in 12.3 overs. Ankit Singh scored 20 off 11 balls, Manish Singh remained unbeaten on 18 off 22 balls. Rajesh Yadav and Ashiq Baitha took 2 wickets each from Rautahat. Asmit, who took 3 wickets from Lucknow, was declared the player of the match.
In the second match, Delhi was given a target of 218 runs with the help of national player Vivek Yadav's century innings from Bara. Vivek scored 104 runs in 53 balls with the help of 7 sixes and 8 fours. Pawan Saraf scored 31 off 14 balls, Adil Ansari 33 off 20 balls, Trit Das 19 off 12 balls, Sahil Patel 15 off 11 balls.
Delhi's Aditya Sinha took 4 wickets with a hat-trick. Rohit Tripathi, Vaibhav Mishra and Rahul Dwivedi took 1 wicket each. On behalf of Delhi, Vivas Yadav scored 53 runs off 35 balls but other players did not perform well. Sahav Alam took 4 wickets, Araniko Yadav 3, Pawan 2 and Bhulawan Sahni took 1 wicket from Bara.
