Bara's Vivek Yadav has scored a century in the Mayor's Cup T20 cricket tournament in Janakpurdham. He scored a century against Delhi on Wednesday. Vivek, who is also a national player, has become the first player to score a century in this tournament.
He scored 104 runs in 53 balls with the help of eight fours and seven sixes. Vivek, who has played only two matches in this tournament, has scored a total of 167 runs. Earlier in the match against Parsa he scored 63 runs. After winning the
toss, the Delhi team invited Bara to bat. Bara's players presented a target of 218 runs to the Delhi team after losing eight wickets in the scheduled 20 overs. This score is the highest ever in the tournament.
Vivek Yadav scored 104 runs in 53 balls, captain Pawan Saraf scored 31 runs in 14 balls, Adil Ansari scored 33 runs in 20 balls, Trit Das scored 19 runs in 12 balls and Shahil Patel scored 15 runs in 11 balls. Aditya Sinha, who bowled for Delhi, took four wickets for 25 runs in three overs, while Rohit Tripathi, Vaibhav Mishra and Rahul Dwivedi took one wicket each.
The team that wins today's match will advance to the semi-finals. Earlier, Mahottari, Muzaffarpur and Lucknow have reached the semi-finals.
