DAV School won the title of the second Jayakumar Nath Shah Memorial Inter-School Cricket Tournament after the famous Jaisi performed brilliantly for the second match in a row. DAV in the final on Monday Defeated Gateway Academy by 7 wickets.

Gateway, who won the toss and elected to bat, was bowled out for 72 runs in 19.3 overs at Moolpani Lower Cricket Ground. From the team, Mushid Iqbal scored 15 runs off 23 balls and Sabir Ansari scored 11 runs off 12 balls. Kamal Shahi of DAV took 4 wickets with 9 runs. Similarly, Keshav Agarwal took 3 wickets for 13 runs and 2 wickets. After the

famous scored an unbeaten 35 off 45 balls, DAV completed the target in 16.4 overs. Mayank Kumar Shah scored 16 runs off 14 balls. Gateway's Ujjwal Gupta took 2 wickets and Simon Pant took 1 wicket. Selected as the famous player of the final. Kathmandu District Cricket Association organized the tournament which is also the basis for Kathmandu District U-16 selection.
