Siraha and Bara won easily in the 3rd Janakpurdham Mayor Cup on Monday. Siraha defeated Rautahat by 36 runs and Bara defeated Parsa by a wide margin of 112 runs at the Ramzan International Multipurpose Stadium.

In the first match, Siraha won the toss and scored 109 runs after losing 9 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs. Ashok Paudel scored 24 runs off 20 balls, Krishi Air scored 24 runs off 19 balls and Dipesh Das scored 19 runs off 21 balls.

Rautahat's Ashish Baitha took 4 wickets with 20 runs in 4 overs, Mohan Ghimire took 3 wickets with 15 runs in 4 overs and Sunny Sah took 2 wickets with 25 runs in 4 overs.

In reply, Rautahat was bowled out for 73 runs in 17.5 overs. Ranveer Yadav scored 20 off 25 balls and Rajesh Yadav scored 21 off 25 balls. Pradeep Paswan of Siraha spent 12 runs in 4 overs and took 3 wickets, Rupesh Singh and Fateh Siddiqui took 2 each and Afruddin Rain and Ashok Paudel took 1 each wicket. 

Bara won the toss in the second match and scored 174 runs losing eight wickets in the scheduled 20 overs. Vivek Yadav scored 63 off 30 balls with the help of 7 sixes and 3 fours, Arnik Yadav scored 25 off 22 balls, Nikhil Singh scored 18 unbeaten runs off 11 balls. Parsa's Ranjit Kumar took 3 wickets, Wasim Mansuri and Anuj Chauhan took 2 each and Chandan Ram took 1 wicket.  In the

reply, Parsa were bowled out for 62 runs in 17.3 overs. Raja Mansuri scored 18 off 24 balls and Safwan Ali scored 11 off 12 balls. Others could not score runs in double figures. Bhulawan Sahnee of Bara took 4 wickets at the cost of 8 runs in 4 overs, Pawan Sarraf took 3 wickets at the cost of 5 runs in 2.5 overs and Kamal Gupta took 2 wickets at the cost of 9 runs in 4 overs.
