Stag Champions Table Tennis Academy honored 5 of its players who won medals in the South Asian Youth Table Tennis Championship with cash on Saturday.

All Nepal Table Tennis Association President Vrijendra Bahadur Hamal, Vice Presidents Govardhan Shrestha and Suman Khadgi, General Secretary Kunwer Prakash Singh and National Table Tennis Team Chief Coach Mohandas Basukala honored the medal winners of Stag Academy. All the players were honored with 10,000 people and symbols of love.

Stag Champions is a table tennis academy opened by nine times consecutive national table tennis champion Navita Shrestha and coach Rakesh Maharjan.

Nepal won one gold, 6 silver and 5 bronze medals in the competition held at the National Table Tennis Training Center in Lanchaur from May 11 to 14. Stag Champions Table Tennis Academy honored Gananjay Dahal and Pravesh Basnet in the U-19 age group and Shubhashree Shrestha, Prajna Maharjan and Surmya Shakya who won medals in the U-15 age group.

Ganjay and Pravesh won the U-19 boys team event and have also been selected for the Asian Junior Table Tennis to be held in Uzbekistan.
