Nepal's professional tennis player Abhishek Bastola is playing in the Stockton Open in California under the UTR Pro Tennis Tour.

Abhishek lost to American player Vraj Patel in the fifth round under Group 'C' at the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center in a competitive match. After winning the first set 6-4, Abhishek lost the set 6-2, 6-1.  Now Abhishek will compete with America's Hardy Owen for the fifth place playoff. Hardy was also defeated in straight sets by his countryman Ran Amar.

Abhishek, who started playing UTR Pro Tennis Tour from 2021, has participated in more than half a dozen tournaments. As part of the

professional tennis tournament, the top 3,000 players in the world compete in the UTR Pro Tennis Tour. Among them, Abhishek is the only player from Nepal.
