A partnership agreement has been reached between the Nepal Triathlon Association and the Japan Triathlon Union. Nilendraraj Shrestha, president of Nepal Triathlon Association and Mitsuhide Iwaki, president of Japan Triathlon Union, exchanged the agreement letter.

The agreement mentions the training and cultural exchange between the players of the two countries, jointly organizing the competition.
