Raju Tamrakar, Premkrishna Maharjan, Phurwa Lama, AIM Abhishek Shah, Purnaraj Khadka, Prem Khadka, CM Bhagwati Prasad Sharma, Badrilal Nepali from Nepal got equal 4 marks.

National Cooperative Federation President Om Devi Malla and Prabhu Mahalakshmi Jeevan Bima Chief Executive Officer Santosh Prasain started the tournament by playing chess. Prakashchandra Nepal, CM Purushottam Chaulagain, Hark Bahadur Chongwang, Ujjwal Dahal, Dhiren Rai, Bedu Saru Magar, Yogesh Shrestha and Ganesh Bahadur Thapa scored 4 points in the competition.

National B Champion Binita Kapali and Nepal Women's Champion Sindira Joshi are ahead. 124 players from Nepal and India are competing in the

competition. The winner will receive a trophy along with 40,000 rupees. The winner will also get a term life insurance facility worth Rs 10 lakh for one year. The second runner-up will get 25,000 and 7 lakh insurance and the third will get a one-year insurance worth 15,000 and 5 lakh.
