Club Golf Valley has launched an indoor golf academy. In order to break the perception that golf is a game played only by the rich, the owner Radheshyam Thapa has informed that a golf course has been brought into operation in Kageshwari Manhara municipality-Gothatar.
According to golfer Thapa, the course has been started targeting people from all walks of life to dispel the notion that golf is played only by the upper classes. According to Thapa, the academy was established especially to attract children towards golf. He claims that the academy will be the first base for teaching the rules and policies of golf.
He said that after taking training from this academy, one can get qualification to go to outdoor course. According to Thapa, it will be difficult for the players to go to Gokarna or Royal Nepal Golf Club at once. It will be easy to take basic training from here.
He said, 'When going to Gokarna or Royal Nepal Golf at once, it is difficult for the players . Learning takes time. It will be easy to build a golf course base here.'
Thapa informed that the course has been started with a special package aimed at children under 15 years of age. According to him, the fee for 50 balls for children below 15 years is Rs.200 and for adults, the fee for 50 balls is Rs.250. You don't need to bring sports equipment such as sticks and balls while learning at the academy.
The academy, which operates throughout the week, is spread over an area of about 2 ropani and its maximum distance is 46 yards.
Likewise, the academy has also arranged for simulator golf aimed at advanced players. According to Thapa, since the outdoor field gets wet during the rainy season, the academy has the facility to practice games, take data and compete with friends through simulators. He informed that the fee for 50 balls has been fixed at Rs 500 for using the simulator.
