The departmental team Nepal Police Club and APF Club of the Armed Police have entered the finals of the Shahid Memorial Local Level Women's National Gold Cup Football Tournament. In the first semi-final held on Tuesday at Gauritar Stadium located in Hetaunda-6, Police defeated Chitwan's women's team by 7-0 goals and confirmed the title clash.

Meena Deuba and Nirmala Upadhyay scored a hat-trick in Police's win. Meena scored a hat-trick in the 21st, 40th and 59th minutes of the game while Nirmala scored in the 34th, 66th and 80th minutes. 

Another goal for Police was scored by Susma Tamang in the 45th minute. Deuba, who scored a hat-trick, was declared the player of the match. She received a trophy with Rs 10,000.

APF entered the final by defeating Sankata 2-0 in the second semi-final held on Tuesday afternoon. Rashmi Ghising scored in the 71st minute of the match and Anita KC scored in the 76th minute of the match in APF's victory. Rashmi headed captain Anita Basnet's corner kick and KC also scored a goal from Basnet's mistake. APF's Renuka Nagarkoti, who performed well in the match, was declared the player of the match. She received Rs.10,000.

The final match will be held on the 25th. The Women's Gold Cup was organized for the first time in Hetaunda under the auspices of the Makwanpur District Football Association. Earlier, the men's gold cup was organized, but this year the association organized the women's gold cup. The winner of the

competition will receive 5 lakh rupees and the runner-up will receive a trophy, medal and certificate along with 3 lakh rupees. Competition coordinator Pratap Bisht informed that the best player will get a scooter and the best in other categories will get a trophy with 25,000 rupees in cash. 8 teams are participating in the Gold Cup.
