The semi-finals of the National Women's Football Tournament-2082 held in Hetaunda have been completed.  In Monday's match, the APF club of the departmental team of the Armed Police won the Birganj Youth Academy by a wide margin of 12-0, and the semi-final equation was completed.

For entry to the finals, the Armed Forces will face the A Division team Sankat. Nepal Police Club will compete with Chitwan Football Club to reach the last two. Both semi-final matches will be played on Tuesday, according to the organizer District Football Association Makwanpur.

APF scored a dozen goals in the ongoing competition at Gauritar Stadium located in Hetaunda-6 and presented a claim to the title. APF, which entered the field with most of the experienced and well-known players of women's football, completely dominated Birganj throughout the game.

Most of the balls hit by APF from outside the box were converted into goals. In the match, the forwards of Birganj got some good chances, but the defense and midfielders proved to be weak. Taking advantage of that, APF kept Birgunj under pressure.

APF scored 5 goals in the first half and added 7 goals in the second half. Rashmikumari Ghising became the heroine in the victory of APF. She scored 5 goals. She completed the hat-trick in the 23rd, 49th and 69th minutes of the game and scored more goals in the 70th and 78th minutes. Along with this, Rashmi has equaled the record of the highest scorer in the Gold Cup. Earlier, Sankata's Mamta Pun scored 5 individual goals in the match against Simra.

Saru Limbu scored the first goal in the 19th minute to give APF the early lead. Anita KC scored in the 25th minute, Saru Limbule again in the 35th minute, Anita Basnet in the 39th minute, Manjali Yonjan in the 45th minute, Sajni Thokar in the 51st minute and Savita Rana in the 73rd minute. Rashmi was declared the man of the match for the

game. She received Rs.10,000. The winner of the competition will get Rs 5 lakh and the runner-up will get Rs 3 lakh.
