The Iranian team won the title of the first Lions Cup International Invitational Volleyball Tournament after defeating the Nepal Police Club in the final held at the multi-purpose covered hall at Pokhara Stadium on Monday. The Iranian team defeated the Police in a set of 3-1.
The Iranian team won the first set 25-18 and lost the second set 24-26. The Iranian team won the third and fourth sets of the very competitive match. The team won the third set 25-18 and the fourth set 25-17. The winning team got 444 thousand 444 rupees and the runner-up police club got 244 thousand 444 rupees with trophies, medals and certificates.
