In the volleyball festival held in Dhankuta, Choubise won the men's title and Sangurigarhi Rural Municipality won the women's title. Chaubise won the title by defeating Pakhribas Municipality 3-1 in the men's side of the festival organized by Volleyball Association Dhankuta.

Chaubise defeated Pakhribas 20-25, 25-20, 25-21 and 25-21. The champion team received 50,000 rupees in cash, a trophy and a certificate. Similarly, the runner-up, Pakhribas Municipality, has settled for 30,000 rupees. 

On the other hand, the women's title has been won by Sangurigarhi. Sangurigarhi, who became the champion, defeated Sahidbhoomi in straight sets by Sangurigarhi 25-21, 25-22 and 25-14. Along with the title, Sangurigarhi received 50,000 in cash, a trophy and a certificate. Similarly, Sahidbhoomi, which became the runner-up, has settled for 30,000. 

District Sports Development Committee President Manoj Chamling Rai, Koshi Pradesh Volleyball Association President Khem Rai and Dhankuta President Gaurav Karki presented prizes and certificates to the winning and runner-up teams. 20 men's and 6 women's teams from seven local levels of Dhankuta participated in the fifteen-day volleyball festival.
