Nepal Police Club has entered the semi-finals of the ongoing Women's National Gold Cup football tournament in Hetaunda.

Rautahat was defeated by 4-2 goals in a tiebreaker in the match at Gauritar stadium located in Hetaunda-6 on Sunday  Police have entered the semi-finals. The result of the match was taken directly from the tiebreaker after the scheduled match time was scoreless.

On behalf of the winning team Police, Revika Pandey, Niru Thapa, Usha Nath and Saru Waiba scored goals in the tie breaker while Geem Kumari Gurung's shot was missed.  Savina Chaudhary and Saloni Rana scored for Rautahat, while Manisha Shrestha and Anjali Chand's shots were saved by Police goalkeeper Usha Nath. Police's goalkeeper Usha was declared the man of the match. She received Rs.10,000. With the win, the police have entered the semi-finals. Police and Rautahat had some good chances in the game, but they could not make use of them. As part of the

competition, there will be a match between APF Club of Armed Police and Birganj Youth Academy on Monday. The winner of the tournament organized by the Makwanpur District Football Association will receive 5 lakh rupees and the runner-up will receive 3 lakh rupees, shield, medal and certificate.
