Nepal Basketball Association (NEBA) has announced the schedule of Himalayan Java Basketball League (HJBL).
According to the league's public schedule, the opening match will be played between Kirtipur and Samakhusi Youth Club on Saturday, May 20. The next match will be between Hounds Academy and Royals. It will be between Times Basketball Club and Goldengate College on 21st Baisakh. 6 teams will participate in the league in collaboration with
Himalayan Java. It is going to be a basketball league in the structure of the weekend. Initially, it was planned to play games only on Saturday and Sunday, but due to the rainy season and the long time it would take, they are going to play games on Tuesday and Wednesday as well, said Bhimsingh Gurung, the chairman of the organizer NEBA.
In the 6-week long basketball league, there will be 5 weeks of league stage games. League matches are scheduled to be played at Rakhep Outdoor Court in Tripureshwar. Times, Hounds, Goldengate, Royals, Kirtipur and Samakhusi Youth Club will compete in the tournament.
