Gyan Memorial Open Golf Tournament will be held. Gyan Foundation will hold a two-day tournament on Friday and Saturday at the Royal Nepal Golf Club (RNGC). According to Manoj Khaling of the foundation, 100 players will compete.

This tournament has been held for 3 years in the name of the father of RNGC President Madhukar Yakthumba. Pro golfer Sachin Bhattarai said that in 2023, 45 players and last year 52 men and 21 women participated.

This year, boys and girls will compete in Ladies Overall, U-18 Boys and Girls, Senior Ladies, Super Senior Ladies, Caddy, Boys U-16, U-10. Khaling said that players from Pokhara and Dharan will participate in this tournament, which will be supported by Nepal Golf Association, RNGC, and RNA.

RNGC Lady Captain Arsia Banu said that this tournament will play a big role in the development of women and junior players. At the end, the organizers said that Shyam Chitrakar, Mahesh Acharya and Sarita Shrestha will be honored three sports media persons.
