Less than 24 hours after Jurgen Klopp bid an emotional farewell, Liverpool have already announced their new manager. He was, Arne Slott. The responsibility of 'Mission Impossible' was carried on his shoulders. Not only that, he also had to replace the magical Klopp.

Again Klopp's football strategy itself was highly aggressive. He also loved the city of Liverpool. Klopp spent nine years in the Merseyside city and led Liverpool to seven major titles. It includes one European Champions League title and one English Premier League success. 

In particular, Liverpool won the English league of the upper division for the first time in 30 years. Therefore, Klopp was also compared with the previous two great coaches, Bill Shankly and Bob Paisley. Slott also knew very well how difficult the job was. 

How difficult it is to replace a coach who has won one title after another, history is not too old. Who doesn't know what happened to David Moyes who replaced Alex Ferguson at Manchester United? And everyone knows what happened to Unai Emery, who took over after Arsene Wenger left Arsenal. In particular, both coaches did not last long. But Slott made such a difficult task look so easy that it was like a morning stroll through Stanley Park. 

Last season, the Premier League title was contested between two clubs, Manchester City and Arsenal. Many predicted that the same trend would be repeated this time as well, not even keeping Liverpool in the title race. Everyone looked at Slut with suspicious eyes and no one expected too much from her. When 30 BBC Sports football pundits were asked who would win the league this season, not a single one mentioned Liverpool.  The

league was only a few weeks old. Clear signs were beginning to emerge that Liverpool were wrong to take the slot away from Fernandez. He had almost the exact same team that Klopp left. This team won eight out of the first 10 league games. It was the best start for a new manager in Liverpool's history. City's declining game and Arsenal's fluctuating performances also made Liverpool easy. 

So Liverpool have remained at the top of the table since September 18th, with a week to spare. Meanwhile, Liverpool lost only two matches. However, not everything has been good under Slott's leadership. There are grounds for criticizing him. As Liverpool lost to Newcastle United in the League Cup final, as they lost to Second Division Plymouth in the FA Cup, they were poor by any standard. 

Even Liverpool's exit from the competition after losing to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the European Champions League was disappointing. The most important title for Liverpool was the league, no doubt about it. Even now, Liverpool has been the English champion 20 times. 

have equaled arch-rivals Club United in number of top division titles won. This is especially big for Liverpool. 

Because of this one achievement, Slott has achieved a great or great achievement, which was won by Jose Mourinho in Chelsea in his debut season, Carlo Ancelotti in Chelsea, Manuel Pellegrini in City and Antonio Conte again in Chelsea. Some may still feel that Liverpool are no longer as aggressive as they were under Klopp. Even watching the Liverpool match is not that easy sensation. But Liverpool looked a bit more disciplined this time. 

But Slott will have no interest in all these accusations. Liverpool have scored two or more goals in all but 5 of their 34 games so far. Liverpool is the top scorer in the table. Especially with the Liverpool team having a bunch of world-class players at the start, Slott made them a bit more confident. So he didn't have to buy any big name players.
