Samriddhi Maharjan and Jenny Khadka reached the quarterfinals of the 11th Citizens Bank Tennis Tournament for women's singles on Monday.

Samriddhi defeated Shreya Bhattarai 6-3, 0-6, 6-4 at the Army Officers Club Court. Jenny received a walkover from Yi Ouyang. Karmishtha Nugah Shrestha defeated Pratishna Moktan 7-6, 6-1, Aisa Dolkar Gurung defeated Mandy Jiang 6-0, 6-1 and Swastika Bisht defeated Prajna Manandhar 6-2, 7-5 to qualify for the quarterfinals.

In men's singles, Aravsamrat Hada defeated Manoj Maharjan 6-0, 6-0 and Sandesh Adhikari defeated Irfan Uddin 6-0, 6-0. Pranav Khanal gets a walkover.

Veterans Naveen Shrestha, Gagan Maharjan, Bhim Bahadur Thapa, Kushal Pandey, Ram Bahadur Nepali, Babim Vikram Thapa, Krishnadev Upreti and Dawa Sonam won the tournament organized by Citizens Bank and Kathmandu District Tennis Association.

Walter Smith, Pavitrajung Rayamazhi and Gyanendraman Tamrakar won the men's singles over 65 years at Rakhep tennis court. Tai Hwan Hoor and Uttam Bogti won the men's over 55 singles.

Veteran over 55 men's doubles pair of Shiv Sedhain and Raju Chhetri, Prem Thapa and Ramesh Rokka, Uttam Bogti and Sanjay Jha, Ram Rana and Sagar KC and Manoj Bahadur Shah and Sanjiv Shrestha defeated their opponents.

Gyanendra Tamrakar and Sahdev Dhungana and Manoj Rana and Dhir Gurung entered the previous round in men's doubles over 65 years.  

Veteran Over 45 men's doubles Degendra Shrestha and Mahesh Shrestha, Rohit Sunuwar and Ibrahim Muslim, Kamal Bahadur Bhandari and Sumit Mainali and Man Bahadur Katuwal and Himal Shah won.
