Nepal Youth Games will be held by the world of meaningful sports. There will be 6 categories of football, basketball, volleyball, cricket, athletics and e-sports in the competition aimed at teenagers in the U-15 age group.

Talent search and selection program will be conducted in 77 districts of the country. The organizers said that the process will take time as it will be done along with selection and training.

The final stage will be held from November 13 to 20 in Kathmandu Valley. Teams from 7 provinces will compete in it. Sushan Dulal, president of Sarthak Sansar, said that the

competition is going to be held for the first time in Nepal with a long-term plan. According to the plan to be held in one province every year, the first edition will start from Gandaki province.   Through

youth games, the aim is to guide secondary level teenagers towards professional sports. It is said that they are going to play sports with a ten-year plan and after 10 years, the goal is to bring players to the national team. Sarthak Khel Sansar plans to build academies in all 7 provinces, Dulal said. The selection stage of district players is set to start from next week.
