APF Club and Tribhuvan Army Club reached the semifinals of the 8th KNP Sher Bahadur Khadka Memorial National Women's Volleyball Tournament on Thursday.

Defending champions APF defeated Everest Volleyball Club in straight sets by 25-19, 25-15, 25-10 in the Group 'A' league match at the National Sports Council (Rakhep) in Tripureshwar. APF's Pooja Chaudhary was declared the player of the match.

In another league in group 'A', Army defeated Everest by 25-16, 25-18, 25-17. Army's Sophia again became the player of the match. Everest has been eliminated from the tournament with its second consecutive loss from this group of three teams.

APF reached the semi-finals as group winners with their second consecutive victory. Army, who won one match, reached the semi-finals as runners-up.

In the semi-final, Army will meet Police, while in the other semi-final, APF will play against New Diamond.
