Preparations for Sher Bahadur Smriti Women's Volleyball are complete

Sher Bahadur Khadka Memorial Foundation has announced that preparations for KNP Nerolek 8th Sher Bahadur Khadka Memorial National Women's Volleyball Tournament have been completed.

The 5 participating teams will be divided into 2 groups and will be played on a Leaguecom Knockout basis.

In group 'B' there are former winners APF, Everest and Army and in group 'B' former runners-up Nepal Police and New Diamond Sports Academy. The first match will be between Army and APF and Police and New Diamond. The

winner will receive a prize of 499,000 rupees, the runner-up will receive 250,000 rupees and the third place winner will receive a prize of 125,000 rupees. On the occasion of the opening of the

competition, one national female player will be honored with the 'Sher Bahadur Khadka Special Award' along with 50,000 rupees. One coach will be rewarded with 50,000 cash. Ranjan Khadka, president of the foundation, informed that the prize money alone is more than 13 lakhs. The final will be held on May 13.
