The sixth edition of the Kummayak Gold Cup will be held in Yasok from 2nd to 5th May.
The Gold Cup is going to be organized by Kummayak Sporting Club and promoted by Kummayak Rural Municipality. The club announced that the preparations for the competition have started in a press conference in Fidim. According to club president Khemraj Niraula, 7 teams from Panchthar and 8 teams from Tehrathum will participate. The winner of the
competition will get a cash prize of 75 thousand 555 rupees along with a trophy, medal and will receive a certificate, while the runner-up will receive a trophy and certificate along with 45 thousand 555 cash. The organizers are preparing to reward the best players of the tournament with Rs 5,000 and category players with Rs 3,000 in cash.
The cost of the tournament, which will be accompanied by the slogan 'participation of eight local levels, San of Kumayak, campaign of Kumayak Sporting in local sports development', is estimated to be around 22 lakh 84 thousand rupees.
