The organizers Gadhimai Sports Club and Tambashri Nepal have won the two matches held on Monday under the Gadhimai Premier League cricket tournament held at Harpatganj in Birganj.
In the first match, Gadhimai Warriors defeated Alpha Avengers by 7 wickets. In the scheduled 16 over match, Gadhimai won the toss and invited Alpha Avengers to bat. Alpha Avengers, who batted first, lost all wickets in 10 overs and could add only 86 runs.
in which Ravi Yadav's 34 and Asif Ansari's 16 runs contributed. Gadhimai's bowler Sajan Rai, who was declared 'Man of the Match', gave away 14 runs in 4 overs and took 4 wickets. While playing the
reply, Gadhimai scored 88 runs in 12 overs and 3 balls with the loss of 3 wickets and found the winning target. Sajan Rai scored an unbeaten 57 runs. Another batsman Arjun Yadav scored 14 runs. Abhishek Mahato of Alpha Avengers took 2 wickets.
In the second match Tambashri Nepal defeated Jeetpur 11 by 6 wickets. Jitpur 11, who won the toss and batted first, could score only 52 runs for the loss of 9 wickets after playing the entire over. None of his batsmen could score runs in double figures.
Tambashri's bowler Rajan Sah alone took 4 wickets. He also became 'Man of the Match'.
While batting in reply, Tambashri scored 53 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 10 overs and won. Imam Ansari scored 11 runs. Munna Yadav of Jitpur 11 took 2 wickets and Manu Hazra took 1 wicket.
