Triveni rural municipality has won the second match of the inter-municipal level T-20 Cup cricket tournament. On Sunday, Triveni defeated Chhatreshwari Rural Municipality by 21 runs in the competition organized by Sharda Municipality and in collaboration with District Cricket Association Salyan, which is being held at the playground of Tribhuvan Jan Madhyamik Vidyalaya in Sharda Municipality-2 Luhaping.
After Chatreswari won the toss, Triveni, who was invited to bat, added 119 runs in 19 overs. Sumit Bhandari scored 53 runs off 55 balls. Triveni got an extra 30 runs. In reply, Chhatreswari was bowled out for 98 runs in 17 overs. Suraj KC became the player of the match.
In another match, Sharda Municipality defeated Siddhakumakh Rural Municipality. Siddakumakh was bowled out for 146 runs in 15 overs. Sharada municipality- scored 147 runs in 13 overs.
