The 10th Manimukund Cup Men's Volleyball Indo-Nepal Club Championship is starting today in Rupandehi.

Organized by Manimukund Club, 9 clubs including 3 departmental and one Indian club will participate in the night competition which will be conducted till 13th Baisakh.

In the opening match, the host Manimukund Volleyball Club and the visiting team Saag Volleyball Academy of India will compete. The tournament will start from 6 pm at Manimukund Sports Ground. A total of 9 teams are participating in the

tournament namely Tribhuvan Army, Nepal Police Club, Nepal APF Club, Gandaki Volleyball Association, Koshi Pradesh Volleyball Association, Galkot Volleyball Club Baglung, Manimukund Volleyball Club, Sudurpaschim Khelkul Parishad and Sag Volleyball Academy of India Gujarat. The winner of the

competition will receive a trophy, medal and certificate along with 3 lakh 11 thousand 111 rupees. Similarly, the runner-up will receive 2 lakh, 11 thousand 111 rupees. According to the organizers, 111 thousand 111 rupees will be awarded to the third place team. Club president Lokendra Bhandari said that the team that wins the consolation place in the game will receive 66 thousand 666 rupees, while cash prizes will also be given in other 8 categories.

best player will be awarded with 15 thousand rupees and cup and certificate. Similarly, the organizers said that the best shooter will be given 10,000 rupees and the best blocker will be given 10,000 rupees.

President Bhandari says that the game is held every year with the aim of displaying the playing skills of national and international volleyball players and developing Nepal's national game of volleyball. Organizers estimate that 68 lakh rupees will be spent to complete the game. Under the competition, Nepal Army Club won the national volleyball title of the 9th edition of the 2000,000 prize.
