Janakpur Sunrisers and Mithila Wires won two matches in the third Madhesh Premier League (MPL) on Thursday. Janakpur beat Chinnamasta Rupani Madhesh Riders by 2 wickets in the first match at the local Pavi Mavi ground.

Riders scored 113 runs after losing 9 wickets in scheduled 20 overs. Dipesh Das scored 28, Abhishek Karki scored 21, Shankar Rana scored 17, Rohan Bick scored 12, Santosh Kakir scored 11 runs. Tul Bahadur Magar of Sunrisers took 3, Vishal Susling 2, Vishal Patel, Arif Sekh and Rupesh Yadav took 1 wicket each. In the
