The Kukiwan Cup Taekwondo competition in Satdobato has started. Nepal Taekwondo Association and World Taekwondo Headquarters Kukiwan will hold the competition till May 6 at the Taekwondo Academy Hall.
According to the organizer, 700 players from different dojangs and departmental teams of the country will participate. In the competition, there will be competition in categories like breaking, poomse, team fight and taekwondo aerobics.
Youth and Sports Minister Tejulal Chaudhary and South Korean Ambassador to Nepal Park Tae-yong jointly opened the event on Thursday.
Minister Chaudhary expressed his belief that organizing the competition will strengthen the relationship between Nepal and South Korea.
