Preparations for the Lumbini Cup International Invitational Women's Football Tournament to be held from May 5 at Nepalgunj Stadium have been completed.
The chief executive of the organizer, Jainarayan Shah, said that all the management work for the competition to be held till April 12 has been completed. He said that the work of
ticket sales, parking management, player housing management and transportation management has already been done. Media coordinator Neeraj Gautam said that the team has started arriving for the
competition. The Tribhuvan Army Club team has arrived in Nepalgunj. 8 teams from Nepal and India will participate.
Home team Banke 11, APF, Nepal Police Club, Army, Karnali FC, Sudurpaschim FC, Siliguri FC, Rautahat District Football Association team will compete. The winner of the competition held in collaboration with the Banke District Football Association will receive a prize of Rs 5 lakh 5555 and the runner-up will get a prize of Rs 250 thousand. To watch the
contest Seasonal full package tickets of 1500 have been arranged, according to the organizer. Concessions will be given for students. It is said that tickets have been arranged according to VIP parapit and ordinary parapit to watch the game.
