Bagmati Warriors Bagmati state level power lifting competition is going to be organized in collaboration with Lalitpur District Power Lifting Association and Nepal Power Lifting Association.
The competition will be held on May 5th and 6th at Rakhep Covered Hall. The best powerlifters of the province will compete in this competition and the players will be selected for the Asian Powerlifting competition to be held in Kathmandu in August. For men, there will be competition in under 59 kg, under 66 kg, under 74 kg, under 83 kg, over 83 kg and under 57 kg, under 63 kg, under 69 kg and over 69 kg weight for women. According to the age group, master male above 50 years and female above 40 years, sub junior male below 18 years and junior male below 23 years will compete.
The winner of each weight group will get 20,000, the second 15,000 and the third 10,000. The first, second and third place players in master, sub junior and junior categories will get 30,000, 15,000 and 10,000 respectively. According to the association, a prize of 1 lakh will be awarded to the overall winner.
