Mahto, an emerging player of the national women's cricket team and the captain of the under-19 Nepali women's cricket team, has been appointed as an honorary sports officer by the Gaushala Municipality of Mahottari.
Mahato, a resident of Gaushala Municipality 11, has been created an honorary sports officer position in the education and sports branch of the municipality and it has been decided to provide him with a salary according to the sixth grade of officer level, Keshav Adhikari, Chief Administrative Officer of Gaushala Municipality said.
Gaushala Municipality's executive committee and the 13th Hiude Municipal Assembly honored cricket player Mahato and appointed him as an honorary sports officer, said Rampreet Mahato, spokesperson of Gaushala Municipality.
