Kajal Awarded Taekwondo Judge in America

Nepali Taekwondo judge Kajal Shrestha has been honored in America. Kajal was honored with cash and a certificate by the Champion Martial Arts Club USA in New York. 11th South Asian Games (SAG) and Asia Pacific Sitorio Karate gold medalist, club coach and president Sunil Lama informed.

Kajal was presented with a total of 400 US dollars, 300 US dollars from Asiad bronze and green gold and silver winner Manita Shahi and 100 US dollars from Pushpa Thapa Magar. Kajal has reached America to be a judge at the Dallas International Taekwondo Championship 2025 in Texas, USA. 

27-year-old Kajal, the gold medalist of the 13th South Asian Games (SAG), became an international Taekwondo referee last year. Since then, she has served as a judge in Japan, Australia and Thailand. She also won the Best Jury Award in Osaka, Japan. After a decade-long career as a player, she started appearing in the role of referee and is an international referee in both Gyorogi and Pumsey categories.
