Defending champions Gorkhali Rugby Club defeated Tribhuvan Army Club by a score of 30-10 in a crucial match to claim the title of the Philippines Rugby Championship.
In the first match on Saturday, APF defeated Nepal Police Club by 78-0 in a one-sided match. With this result of the round robin league, Gorkhali has 4 points. APF and Army got 2 points each. Police are numberless.
Now the last match of the league stage of the competition will be on Tuesday. Gorkhali will compete against Nepal Police and APF against Army. With its overall results, the team that will be the top in the league will be the champion.
