Female golfer Tara Karki Chitrakar won the title of Nepal Women's Open Golf Tournament at Royal Nepal Golf Club on Saturday.

Tara won the title by getting 37 points. Tara, a national team player, received an electric scooter and a gift hamper from Arcia Couture.

National team's Yajana Khatri finished second with 36 points. Remembrance also received a trophy and a gift hamper . She scored three birdies to win the title of most birdies.

Avani Rai won the U-19 title. She scored 34 points. Sandhya Rai won the senior side with 26 points. Kalyani Moktan was successful in Super Senior. She scored 13 points.

Parvati Subedi won the title of Best Front Nine and Anjali Yonjan won the title of Best Back Nine. Parvati scored 18 and Anjali scored 19. Juni Gurung won the award for Longest Drive, Balkashi Gurung for Closest to the Pin, Anjalika Sinha for Straight Drive, Riju Rai for Best Sportsmanship and Judge Sapna Pradhan Malla for Lucky 'Dr'.

The top 10 players will compete in the second and final round on Sunday. Tara, Mejkan, Anjali, Avani, Parvathy, Ranu Baniyan, Sushma Singh, Sumitra Limbu, Sandhya Rai and Devi Pulami have been selected for Magar.

The award was presented to the winner by actress Manisha Koirala, Judge Sapna Pradhan Malla, RNGC President Madhukar Yakthumba, Captain Mithun Rai, Lady Captain and Chief Organizer Arshia Banu and Nepal Golf Association President Tasi Ghale.
