Lumbini Khukuri Cricket Club won over Madhesh Pradesh Cricket Club in KP Oli Cup National Open T20 Cricket Tournament. Lumbini won by 5 wickets against Madhesh in the ongoing tournament at Pokhara Cricket Ground organized by Madan Bhandari Sports Academy.

The match was abandoned after 19 overs after rain damaged the field. Chasing a winning target of 129 runs, Lumbini scored 131 runs losing 5 wickets in 18 overs. Ranjit Khatri top scored for Lumbini with 54 runs. He hit 5 fours and 2 sixes while facing 45 balls.

opener Dev Khanal was bowled for 43 runs. He hit 6 fours and 2 sixes in 23 balls. Mohammad Hussain and Sandeep Rajali scored 13 each, Tul Bahadur Thapa scored 7 runs. Nischal Chaudhary and Prajwal Thapa could not score runs. For Madhesh, Pradeep Paswan and Harishankar Shah took 2/2 and Pappu Yadav took 1 wicket.

Himal Friends has a score of 1.1818 and Karnali has a score of 0.8824. Karnali is in the second place in the points table.  

Lumbini is third in the points table and Madhesh Pradesh is at the bottom. Lumbini has 2 points after winning 1 match and losing 1 match in 2 matches. Having lost in both games, Madhesh is scoreless.  

The final match of group 'C' will be held on Sunday in the tournament which will last till May 5. According to which, Lumbini Khukuri will face Karnali Academy and Madhesh Pradesh will face Himal Friends.
