Team Himalayan Sherpa Club of A Division won the title of 15th Jitpur Simra Gold Cup. In the final competition held under floodlights on Friday night at Simra Stadium, he won the Jitpur Simra Gold Cup by winning the Simra Gold Cup title against the other A Division team, Machchindra Football Club, with a wide goal difference at the scheduled time.

In the title match, Himalayan Sherpa Club defeated Machindra Football Club by 4-1 and became the champion of Jeetpursimra Gold Cup for the second time. Sherpa previously won the title of the second edition.  The winner, Himalayan Sherpa, who won the

title, received 10 lakhs in cash and a trophy, while the runner-up, Machindra, settled for 5 lakhs. Machindra, who was defeated in the final competition of the last 14th edition, has been limited to the runner-up for the second time in a row. 

Captain Vishwas Shrestha scored two goals while Robert Khongjo and Samirraj Thokar scored 1/1 while giving Himalayan Sherpa the title. Ranjan Pun scored the only consolation goal for Machindra. 

Himalayan Sherpa's captain Biswas Shrestha scored the opening goal in the third minute of the game against Machhindra.  Ranjan Pun scored the equalizing goal for Machindra in the 27th minute of the match. But shortly after Machindra equalized, Himalayan Sherpa scored another goal to maintain the lead. Samirraj Thokar turned Robert's cross pass into a goal in the 29th minute of the game and brought Himalayan Sherpa to a 2-1 position. 

In the injury time of the first half, Robert Khongjo widened the lead of Himalayan Sherpa by scoring an attractive goal. Robert, who advanced the ball alone from the centerline, beat Machindra's defense line and scored a very nice goal in a one-on-one situation.

After 3-1 in the first half, Machindra was limited to 10 players before being able to take control in the second half. Machindra's goalkeeper Vishal Sunar got a red card  Get out of the field. When Robert Khongjo of Himalayan Sherpa was fouled by the keeper, Vishal pulled Robert's leg with his hand and FIFA referee Navindra Maharjan gave Vishal a straight red card and sent Vishal out of the field.

After the goalkeeper received a red card, Machindra coach Santosh Neupane called Anil Khadka back from the field to send alternative goalkeeper Suresh Sada to the goal post. Captain Vishwas Shrestha converted the penalty opportunity given by Himalayan Sherpa into a goal and managed to make a wide margin of 4-1.

Amit Tamang of Himalayan Sherpa was the green energy man of the match in the final match. He got 10,000 in cash and a trophy. Robert Khongjo of Machindra Football Club was declared the VXL Education Player of the Tournament. He received an electric scooter. 

Robert also got the high scorer award. Robert scored the most 3 goals in the tournament. Robert, who scored 1-1 in the quarterfinal and semi-final and won the man of the match in both games, scored another goal in the final game and won the prize of 25,000 rupees.

Vivash Chaudhary of Himalayan Sherpa and Prajwal Pratap Chhetri of Himalayan Sherpa were declared the best goalkeeper. Both of them received the same 25,000 and a trophy.

The emerging player award given to emerging local players was announced as Serab Lo Tamang of the domestic team organizer Nava Janjagriti Simra. He received the prize of Rs. 15,000. The award was sponsored by football player Ravi Paswan who is currently in Australia. The Fair Play trophy was awarded to Salhesh Youth Club.
