Dev Chhetri and Deep Rana have won the title in the 2nd Mandikhatar Amateur Tennis Tournament in doubles above 35 years.

In the final at the Mandikhatar Tennis Court on Friday, the pair of Chhetri and Rana won the title by defeating the pair of Bhishmajang Gurung and Seemant Gurung in a super tiebreaker. After 6-3, 4-6, the result was 14-12.

The pair of Mahesh Shrestha and Digendra Shrestha won the title in doubles above 45 years. They defeated the duo of Dharma Lamichhane and Gopi Bhattarai in a super tiebreaker. The winning pair won 6-3, 2-6, 10-7.

Surya Giri and Dev Chhetri will fight for the title in over 45 singles. In the semifinals, Surya defeated Ashish Sigdel 6-1, 6-2 and Dev defeated Mahesh Shrestha 6-2, 6-4.  . Over 55 years Manoj Vikram Shah and Sanjeev Shrestha and Jeevan Ghimire and Sudarshan Bista will compete in the finals. In the semi-finals, the pair of Jeevan and Sudarshan defeated the pair of Manoj Rana and Digendra Shrestha 6-3, 6-2. The pair of Manoj Vikram and Sanjeev defeated the pair of Himal Shah and Shiv Sedha by 6-4, 4-6, 10-3.

Bimal Waiba and Manoj Vikram Shah will fight for the title in over 55 singles. Bimal beat Uttam Bogti 6-1, 6-1 and Manoj beat Jeevan Ghimire 6-0, 6-4. The pair of Kamal Thapa and Chhamba Dhundup won the title in doubles above 65 years. They defeated the pair of Manoj Rana and Prakash Singh Bogti 6-2, 6-3.

Kamal Thapa and Karma Ghale will compete for the title in over 65 singles.
